If you don't have time to look at a lot of websites and want some advice on stepfamilies, dealing with ex-spouses and child custody issues, this is a great place to go. You can download the Parenting Time Tracker software to keep tabs on time investments with your children by noncustodial ex-spouses, which is produced by SPARC (listed below).

Stepfamily Foundation
Founded in 1975, this foundation provides support for stepfamilies and conducts research. Sells print and audio resources to help stepfamilies. Sells leader and participant manuals for do-it-yourself support groups, although they are pricey. Can provide you with a list of certified Stepfamily Foundation counselors and also offers phone counseling sessions. Contains some free content that is helpful to stepfamilies.

A support group for the Stepfamily Association of America, this group has an online forum.

Produced bimonthly by the Stepfamily Association of America, this magazine is a must-have for stepparents seeking to avoid burnout. Just when you thought no one could ever feel the way that you do, you will find an article about it in this magazine. I always find tons of good ideas, stories I can relate to, and lots of advice. There's also sections for stepkids and practical suggestions on family bonding activities.
